4. Children painting exhibition sent to Bangladesh, for inclusion in the 3rd International Children Art Biennale Bangladesh, 2004.

5. Pakistani Paintings Exhibition held in Beijing, China, 2003.

6. Pakistani sculptor, Anjum ayaz, participated in the World Sculptor Congress, Beijing, created a stone sculpture during his stay there, which is today displayed at a prominent venue representing Pakistan.

7. Chinese Wax Paintings and Paper cut held at the National Art Gallery, Islamabad to celebrate their national day.

8th NATIONAL EXHIBITION OF VISUAL ARTS, 2003
 

The Eighth National Exhibition of Visual Arts brought under one roof the works of some 229 artists from all over Pakistan. It was held after seven long years and was a testimonial of the fact that visual arts have undergone a considerable transformation over the time period. A new crop of exciting artists has joined the galaxy of stars that have dominated scene for quite some time now. New techniques and different genres are being explored with a passion.The masters are imparting their influence to a whole new generation. Provinces, such as Baluchistan and the NWFP are addressing themselves more earnestly to the demands of the visual arts community.
Th PNCA has had the privilege of coordinating this exhibition. The major credit, however, goes to the executive committee setup for master minding the entire event as wel as the seminars that have formed the pivotal point of the entire exercise. The committee comprised Gulgee as chairman, Majorie Hussain as National coordinator, Saeed Akhtar, Mansur Rahi and Colin David as its members. The Provincial Advisory Committees of visual arts of the PNCA also deserve credit and our thanks for their efforts. The PNCA is indebted to all concerned.

Dialogue On Art
 
DIALOGUE ON ART is a monthly event organized by Pakistan National Council of the Arts, aiming to provoke art activity in the region through an intellectual dialogue. Eminent personalities glorifying various genres of art and culture are invited as guest speakers, to share their personal & professional experiences.

Celebrities, educationists, artists, writers, poets, scholars, producers, journalists, students and others coming from different backgrounds regularly attended the dialogue. This interactive dialogue is open to questions and queries, which initiates a productive verbal activity thus creating an ambiance for enlightening views and some healthy criticism.
